About

We are seeking a highly-motivated self-starter to join our team as a Media Designer. ServiceCentral is a software company that helps connect consumers, products, and services across the world. We offer multiple cloud-based platforms, including RepairQ and ServiceManager, used to manage the servicing of millions of pieces of consumer and business equipment worldwide each year.

The successful candidate will be a team player who also works well independently and who has experience working in a business environment as a designer.

As a Media Designer, you will work with our marketing and business development teams to create concepts and campaigns for our multiple products. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in media design with a thorough understanding of graphic design, design principles, layout, composition, and color. Experience with 2D animation, video, and motion graphics is strongly desired.

What You’ll Do

• Develop creative assets for digital campaigns, print materials, marketing site updates, sales collateral, presentations and promotional giveaways
• Participate in creative campaign planning
• Assist with ensuring company-wide adherence to style guides and brand standards
• Provide guidance and design expertise to projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ Years’ experience working in a design related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related field
• Must be proficient in Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with WordPress strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Office/Google products preferred
• Experience with 2D animation, video, and motion graphics is strongly desired
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge and execution of current design trends
• An ability to think creatively and analytically when identifying new problems and planning for how to solve them
• Professional judgment and discretion to make decisions when under a tight deadline
